In his downtime, Dr. Ackah’s favorite TV shows include Hells Kitchen, Empire, and House of Cards. His top movie pick is Coming to America. For books, he enjoys The 48 Laws of Power, Born a Crime, and Finding Me.

Volunteer/Service Experience – Dr. Ackah is committed to giving back, having participated in dental mission trips to Honduras and Kenya, and volunteered with Catholic Charities.

Biography:

Dr. Walter A. Ackah began practicing dentistry in 2009. He distinguished himself by being one of only three graduates selected for a residency at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. A native Ghanaian, he developed a lifelong passion for soccer from childhood. He’s also a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan (sorry cowboy fans). Dr. Ackah shares his life with an amazing wife and two wonderful daughters, proudly calling himself a “complete girl dad” who wouldn’t change a thing. He also loves to cook and barbecue for family and friends.
