Dentures & Bridges

The absence of teeth doesn’t necessitate bidding farewell to a confident smile.

At BLVD Dentistry & Orthodontics, we understand the uniqueness of each patient, and we craft individualized dentures that not only feel comfortable but also look entirely natural.

There are two main types of dentures:

  1. Full Dentures:
    • Immediate Full Dentures: These are provided right after the removal of all natural teeth. They may need frequent adjustments in the initial months of use.
    • Conventional Full Dentures: These are placed once the gum tissue has healed, a process that typically takes several months.
  2. Partial Dentures:
    • These are utilized to fill the gaps left by removed permanent teeth and serve as a removable alternative to bridges.
    • Partial dentures consist of artificial teeth attached to either an acrylic (gum-colored) base or a metal frame, fitting between your natural teeth.

Additionally, dental bridges are an alternative to partial dentures:

  • A dental bridge helps replace missing teeth, maintaining facial shape, and reducing stress on your bite.
  • Comprising materials such as gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination, bridges are bonded onto surrounding teeth for support.

Whether you opt for dentures or bridges, achieving a beautiful smile is well within your reach.
