Dr. Mandy Wilkinson is the orthodontist at BLVD Dentistry & Orthodontics of Heights, TX.

She obtained her education from the University of Toronto and St. Louis University. Dr. Wilkinson finds joy in being an orthodontist as it allows her to enhance patients’ self-esteem. Throughout her career, she has successfully completed over 6,000 orthodontic cases.

Dr. Wilkinson takes pride in witnessing the transformation from misaligned teeth and low confidence to a straight and functional smile, accompanied by newfound confidence. She takes a holistic approach to orthodontics and collaborates with various specialists to ensure patients receive a comprehensive treatment plan that prioritizes their aesthetic smile and oral health.

Dr. Wilkinson is eager to connect with individuals in the community who may have never considered orthodontic treatment, as she believes everyone should have access to smile improvements and overall oral health enhancements.

When she is not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Wilkinson enjoys spending quality time with her teenage son, who is a dedicated baseball player at Stratford High School. Additionally, she finds pleasure in activities such as cycling, swimming, traveling, and taking walks with her labrador.

Invisalign appointments work with your schedule. Most visits are in and out, with a quick progress check once every six weeks.

What is Invisalign?

The Invisalign system is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth and achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Invisalign uses advanced 3D computer imaging technology to depict your complete treatment plan, from the initial position of your teeth to the final desired position. Then, a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth — and your teeth only — to move them little by little. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series until the final position of your teeth is achieved. Your Invisalign treatment time will be determined by your doctor based on your specific needs.

What are the primary benefits of Invisalign?

Invisalign aligners are clear, making Invisalign a seamless fit with your lifestyle and day-to-day interactions with others. Invisalign aligners are also removable. Unlike braces, you have the flexibility to eat and drink what you want during treatment simply by removing the aligners when you eat.
